I understand that at the time of checkout I will be subscribed to Muddy Creek Farms' mailing list, which allows Muddy Creek Farms to to send automatic emails to the provided email address. Failure to allow emails to your provided email address may result in a delay or failure to receive baby picking notifications. While subscribed to this mailing list, you may also receive occasional offers and discounts in your inbox. You may unsubscribe at any time.
It is understood that a single notification to pick a hedgehog will be sent to the email address which is provided at the time of check out. Each family is given 12 hours to pick their baby before the baby picking emails is forwarded to the next family in line and a response is expected within 24 hours of this notification. Occasionally these emails will be sent to an individual's junk folder instead of their inbox, despite the individual having previously received emails from Muddy Creek Farms without issue. Although our waiting list page is updated at least once every 24 hours, in instances where multiple responses are received throughout the day it may not always be an accurate reflection of current waiting list activity. Please ensure you check both your inbox and junk folder for baby picking emails, or add our email address to your list of contacts to prevent emails from being marked as spam. Our email address will be provided on the purchase receipt once you have completed the checkout process.
I understand it is my responsibility to make contact if I fail to respond to any email notification from Muddy Creek Farms, should I still desire to receive notifications when new babies become available. Failure to respond to notifications more than two times will result in a forfeit of deposit.

available, before they are listed on our website as open for deposit to the

General Policies & How it Works...
Please read this section in its entirety before placing your deposit. We make
no guarantee you will receive your hedgehog within any specific time frame. By
placing a general waiting list deposit, you are only guaranteed reserved
placement on our list to be offered babies as they become available. Although
we do list our upcoming litters and the expected time frame in which they will
be ready to go to their new homes, placing a deposit does not guarantee you
will receive a hedgehog during that time. It is very important any family
placing a general waiting list deposit realize that hedgehogs are live animals
and we, the breeder, have very little control over the success of any mating,
nor can we always control how well a mom will care for her babies once they
have been born. There have been many times where only a few hedgehogs have been
bred and we have had 25+ babies! Likewise, there have also been many cases
where we have bred a very large number of hedgehogs and only had 2-3 babies, or
in some instances, no babies at all. In one event, this happened 3 months in a
row, then we had a large baby boom. However, if we fail to provide you with a
hedgehog within a period of 12 months, we will refund your deposit in full.
Deposits are non-refundable and all general waiting list deposits are valid for
up to 12 months. Within this time, you are free to pick any baby offered to you
or pass and wait for future litters. If you have failed to take one or more
hedgehogs offered to you within this time, we reserve the right to remove you
from the list without notice and you will then forfeit your deposit once the 12
